ELVHIS Announces Safe Implementation of Hydrogen-Ready Heating Appliances and Milestone in Hydrogen Heating Innovation
The European Leading Association of Manufacturers of Industrial Heating Systems (ELVHIS) is proud to announce that, starting from 2025, heating appliances across Europe have been declared safe to use hydrogen in fluctuating content between 0 and 20%. This significant development marks a milestone in our journey towards sustainable and clean energy solutions.
In addition to this achievement, ELVHIS is delighted to share that H2 ready heating appliances are set to be retrofitted for the usage of 100% hydrogen from 2029 onwards. This proactive approach ensures that our heating systems will be fully prepared to meet the demands of a hydrogen-powered future, contributing to a greener and more sustainable environment.
Furthermore, our esteemed members have made a groundbreaking discovery and have successfully patented the first industrial heaters that run on 100% hydrogen. This innovation is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our members, as well as our commitment to leading the way in energy-efficient and eco-friendly heating solutions.
